- Traffic police and their role:
The traffic police don’t have the right to recover any form of fine from the commuters., an individual poses the right to reject the fine paid directly to the traffic police. One can even pay the fine to the traffic police. The traffic police do not have the power of forcefull payments. The only duty of traffic police is to stop the individual who mistakenly violates the traffic rules. Other than stopping, one can give the commuter the challan concerning the traffic violation. The court is supposed to launch order for recovering traffic fines. Only after this process, the police can go for recovering actions.
4 Imprisonment:
When one commuter receives on spot challan, the vehicle document/ Driver’s license is taken in by the traffic police. After that, the concerned commuter needs to visit the court. In some cases, the commuter can arrange other papers related to the vehicle. In those cases, the driver often rejects attending the court. In those scenarios, the court calls for the concerned individual. Another scene concerning this situation is that the court might launch a non-bailable warrant for the commuter.
