Pre-planning is the best way to start anything. It’s better to make a timetable for your preparation and give sufficient time for each topic. Also, add short breaks and some long breaks after every hour to re-energize yourself (mandatory one). Be stubborn and rigidly follow your schedule.
II) Do Self-Study –
Well, Self-study is incomparable and the only key to success. No matter how much you learn in your class you hit home only by self-teaching.
- Corner for the Learner – Find a peaceful and positive corner of your home and make it your world till the exam. A place that stays you away from all the hustle-bustle. So that you can only concentrate on your studies
- Repeat the lessons at home – After coming back to the home try to revise all the topics you taught in the classes. Make it a habit for reduces the exam pressure
- Make easy notes – Make your notes so that you can understand the topics best. Not mere from the books of NCERT or the notes are given by the lecturers but also take advantage of reference books and the internet. Research well and make easy and accurate notes for yourself
- Do not Scare by Long Topics- Usually, students get afraid by seeing long topics and the nervousness doesn’t let them understand even the short ones. But the right method of learning makes everything easier. So make a strategy for lengthy passages like dividing them into many paragraphs or you can make different pointers of the topic
III) Solve CBSE Sample Papers –
Every year the class 10th & 12th samples questionnaires of all subjects are released a few months before the examination. Go and buy it from your nearest bookstores or download it from the internet. It helps you to understand the format of board papers and also the marking pattern. Do not stick on the fresh sample papers, try to solve maximum sample papers from previous years too.
IV) Deal with Previous Years Question Papers-
While solving the questions given inside the books and sample papers, don’t forget to crack the question papers of previous years. Ask your seniors for the questions or find them on the Internet. Try to solve all the questions that came in the examination in the last 5-10 years at least. It will help you to track the level of your board exam preparation.

Follow the syllabus, making notes, revise all the topics. Ready to ‘Fateh‘??? Hey, wait, why in such a hurry??? This is not enough children. Who will work on your writing?
Add writing practice in your daily routine right now and give at least 1 hour to it. Make an effort to write neatly and also increase your writing speed. You will get a limited time in the examination hall to read, understand and attempt the questions. So practice writing fast and clean simultaneously with the help of watch (cos practice makes everything perfect). Sometimes the way of presentation helps you to get extra marks.
(Don’t forget to take your watch in the examination hall).
