MS Dhoni removes controversial Army Insignia from wicketkeeping gloves

Many controversies erupted after MS Dhoni wear wicketkeeping glove with the Balidan badge on them during the WC opener against SA. Later ICC denied permission to Dhoni to wear the army badge on his wicketkeeping gloves. Dhoni followed the ICC's instructions and was seen wearing a different pair of gloves during the second clash against Australia. Dhoni's fans and many cricketers came in support and praised his gesture.
