With 5 of 6 nominees, Women lead the Nominations for Booker International Prize

The prestigious Booker International Prize celebrates translated English novels from all over the world shortlisted 6 writers in total, of which 5 are women. Polish novelist Olga Tokarczuk who won the prize last year for fiction is 1 among the 5 nominees this year, for 'Drive your plow over the bones of the dead'. The winner will be declared on May 21 in London & 50000 pound is the prize money shared by author & translator.
