While researchers at NASA are busying themselves with mastering flight in the thin Martian atmosphere, vintners from Georgia are working on how they might make wine there. Georgia is the first nation to master winemaking, and a group of researchers from the country is working on cultivating grape varieties that might survive on Mars. It follows a call from NASA, seeking ideas to a "sustained human presence" on Mars.
