On Jan 21, when all the star gazers were captivated by the Moon's copper-red makeover; a tiny object struck the Moon that bothered and became a mystery. But the mystery has been cracked and revealed by a team of researchers from Colombia and the Dominican Republic. That tiny object was a small meteoroid weighing from 20 to 100 kg and smashed into the Moon at a speed of 47,000 km/hour. Such collisions are common.
