Vinesh Phogat is now the first Indian wrestler to qualify for Tokyo Olympics after beating world no.1 Sarah Ann Hildebrandt with superlative defensive display in the World Championship. She won 8-2 in her second repechage round encounter. In her first repechage round, she had beaten Ukraine’s Yuliia Khavaldzhy Blahinya 5-0 and now one win away from her maiden medal. She will face Greek wrestler Maria Prevolaraki.
