A senior US senator is facing heavy criticism as he mocked the plight of many Indians who are being forced to wait for their permanent residency, Green Card, owing to a country-limit system. The Democrat senator Richard J Durbin representing the state of Illinois in US has also ordered a “block” on a legislation which wants to remove the country limit after passing the House of Representatives with bipartisan support.
