The Uttar Pradesh assembly created history by successfully conducting a 36-hour long assembly session to discuss the development goals without any disruption. The 36-hour long session was boycotted by the opposition. The Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath thanked all the Opposition members who ''chose to rise above party lines on the issue of development'' in his concluding speech on Thursday night.
