Uber fined 400,000 euros by French authorities over data breach

France's data protection agency has demanded a fine of 400,000 euros from Uber over the leakage of data of almost 57 million clients and drivers across the world happened in 2016. Uber had to deal with the anger of people as it informed about the breach one year later in November 2017 that hackers have stolen data of customers. The Authority said that the breach would have been prevented with certain measures.
