Toxins in Delhi air to increase, crop burning begins in neighboring states

Every year Delhi faces a high in pollution when the neighboring states start burning crops. Farmers in Haryana and Punjab have begun burning crops leading to toxic air entering Delhi. Nearly 61 cases of stubble burning have been reported in Haryana, and 2 in Punjab, said the pollution control board. Till now 26 FIRs regarding this have been lodged. To prevent the pollution level NGT had imposed fines on farmers doing this.
