To land its next rover on the Mars, NASA has launched a rocket from its Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia to test a supersonic parachute on Friday. The rocket is carrying the ASPIRE from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. The payload came down by parachute and entered the Atlantic Ocean 28 miles away from the Wallops Island, said NASA. For inspection, the parachute has been returned to Wallops.
