Earlier this year, India took decisions that the US didn't support and so the step US has taken now can be seen as a reply to India. On Thursday, US revoked duty-free concessions on import of at least 50 Indian products mainly in the category of agriculture and handloom. The step is seen as Trump administration's tough stand on trade-related matters with India. Trump on Tuesday issued a presidential proclamation on this.
