"Techincal Glitch" doomed Israel's Beresheet spacecraft at the last minute

Israel spacecraft 'Beresheet' suffered from technical issues in one of its components that led the lander to crash on the Moon. the malfunction triggered a chain of events that caused its engine to switch off. The 1st issue occurred14 km above the lunar surface after it sent a selfie of its descent. A crash was inevitable as the spacecraft moved at 500km/h speed. Despite the engine re-start, it wasn't able to slow down.
