Starting from today, many of the trade unions, farmers' and teachers' associations are on a strike for 2 days across India. The strike is against the Modi government for changing labor laws without taking the trade unions into confidence. In a press statement, the Centre of Indian Trade Unions, a Left-affiliated body, said that the govt is rubbing off regular employment and wages by unilaterally changing labor laws.
