Sri Lankan Petroleum Minister arrested for shooting incident

Sri Lankan Petroleum Minister and former cricketer, Arjuna Ranatunga was arrested on Monday after his bodyguard started firing on protesters on Sunday. In the shooting one person was killed. Soon Arjuna will be produced in the court. The incident happened after the President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday announced that the Cabinet had been dissolved with the placement of new PM Mahinda Rajapaksa.
