Sri Lanka’s Angelo Perera became only the second man in cricket history to hit two double hundreds in a single first-class match. Angelo Perera, the skipper of the Nondescripts Cricket Club in Sri Lanka notched up 201 in the first innings and 231 in the second innings during a first-class match against Sinhalese Sports Club. Earlier, Arthur Fagg, a Kent batsman had scored 244 and 202 not out against Essex in 1938.
