Spanish opera singer dies, was in hospital since September

Famous for her bel canto technique, Montserrat Caballe, a Spanish opera singer has died on Saturday at the age of 85. She was also known for her interpretations of the roles of Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti. She died at Hospital San Pau in Barcelona and her family has requested to not to reveal the cause of death. The singer was in the hospital since September due to some problems in her gallbladder.
