Smriti Mandhana rises to top position in women’s ODI rankings

After hitting her 4th ODI century and a supreme unbeaten 90 in the just-concluded ODI series against New Zealand, Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has jumped three spots in the batters’ list to clinch the number one spot in the ICC women’s ODI rankings. Mandhana scored 105 off 104 balls in the first ODI and then notched up an unbeaten 90 off 83 balls which helped India to bag a 2-1 series win against the Kiwis in the 3-match ODI series.
