Sikkim, only Indian state left to have airport, got its first airport

Sikkim was the only Indian state left to have its functional airport, which finally gets its first airport today. The Pangyong airport was inaugurated by the PM of India, Narendra Modi. With the inauguration of this airport, the tourism in the state will increase and also it will improve the connectivity with the Himalayas. The first flight from the airport, spread over the area of 201 acres, will start from Oct 4.
