Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray to contest in assembly elections

Elder son of Shiv Sena party chief Uddhav Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray said he will contest in the October 21 assembly elections and made the announcement at a party rally. In doing so, Aaditya will become the first member of the Thackeray clan to ever contest an election. Aaditya said he will contest from the Worli assembly segment in Mumbai. Shiv Sena's sitting MLA Sunil Shina will vacate his place for Aaditya.
