Sacked CBI Director Faces Consequences for Refusing to join Fire Services

The MHA has asked ex-CBI director Alok Verma to join the fire services after terminating as the CBI director. Alok Verma instead had asked to relieve him from government services. But his request has been disapproved. He did not join as DG Fire services even after receiving the instructions. Sources say that he is likely to face departmental enquiry if he does not comply with MHA order to join as DG Fire Services.
