Rupee hits record low, breaches 72 mark against dollar for the first time ever

The Rupee has hit the record low of 72 mark against the dollar for the first time ever. In the year 2018, the rupee has depreciated 13% and between June to September it has slipped 7%. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that rupee is falling due to global factors and there is no need to panic. The rupee is having its worth month in last three years after the sanctions on Iran and India imports 83% of its required crude oil.
