India’s new Test opening pair Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal immediately entered the record books as they walked out against South Africa in the first Test in Visakhapatnam. Rohit and Mayank are the first Indian openers in 47 years to play their first match at home. The last time both Indian openers were playing their first match in India was Sunil Gavaskar and Ramnath Parkar in 1972 at New Delhi against England.
