Retail inflation rises to 3.77% in September

Content HeadDue to higher fuel prices, food prices and weakening rupee, Retail inflation in September reaches to 3.77% from 3.69% in August. Meanwhile, factory output measured by the index of industrial production (IIP) decelerated to a three-month low of 4.3% in August. The retail inflation is measured by the Consumer Price Index and also act as the main price mark that the Reserve Bank of India tracks.
