Portugal found 400-Year-old Shipwrecks, was returning from India

While searching Portugal’s coast archaeologists have discovered 400-years-old shipwreck. The ship is expected to have sunk near Lisbon when it was returning from India laden with spices. The project director, Jorge Freire said that this is the most important discovery of all time. Around the shipwreck were found spices, 9 bronze cannons, Chinese ceramics and cowry shells. It was found on 3rd September and is well-preserved.
