PM Modi inaugurates India's largest rail-road bridge in Assam

On the occasion of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee 94th birth anniversary, the current PM Modi has inaugurated the double-decker Bogibeel bridge in Assam. On January 22, 1997, the then PM, HD Deve Gouda, laid the foundation of India's largest bridge and on April 21, 2002, the work on the national project commenced by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The bridge is 4.94 km long and the manufacturing cost is Rs 5,900 crore.
