Pakistan military claim killing of 5 soldiers along LoC; India deny

Pakistani troops resorted to mortar shelling and small arms fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, and according to Defence Ministry spokesperson Lt Colonel Devender Anand, the shooting from across the LoC started at 7 AM in the Krishna Gharu area. The response by the Indian army came after Pakistan's military spokesperson claimed that three of its own soldiers were killed in the firing.
