P Chidambaram claims ED wanted his arrest just to humiliate him

Former Finance minister P Chidambaram, who is currently at the moment is in CBI custody in the INX Media case, claimed before the Supreme Court that the ED just wanted his arrest to 'humiliate' him and asked how he can be painted as a 'kingpin' for the offense with effect. Chidambaram stated that the Prevention of Money Laundering Act was being retrospectively applied against. The bench will continue with the hearing on the 29th.
