Only 16 states gave report demanded by SC for steps to stop mon lynching

The SC gave 1 week of time to all the states to file a report on steps to be taken to stop mob lynching and cow vigilantism. And to SC’s demand, only 16 states on Friday submitted their compliance report. The court has said that if the states will not submit their reports as demanded by it, the home secretaries will appear in person. The court also ordered all stated and UTs to post guidelines on official websites.
