For success, new skill sets are necessary but companies in the Indian IT sector are still hiring people with expertise in older software languages such as Cobol and C++. Experts say that this demand is not going to end any soon. Kamal Karanth, founder of HR consulting firm Xpheno said that there is demand for both old and new the skill sets. HR head of IBM India said old skill sets make the foundation better for new ones.
