Nearly 91% PCs from India were loaded with pirated software: Microsoft

Microsoft said that it purchased new personal computers from India, and nearly 91% of them were loaded with high-level of pirated software. The software-giant bought these computers from 9 Asian countries including India between May and July this year, and then tested them, and the results revealed that more than 83% of them were having pirated software. Indonesia had 90% such PCs followed by, Taiwan 73%, Singapore 55%.
