Nadal out of Shanghai Masters with wrist injury

Two-time finalist (2009 and 2017) Rafael Nadal has decided to skip next week’s Shanghai Masters as he is yet to recover from a wrist injury. The world no.2 also had to pull out of last month’s Laver Cup ahead of his second singles match due to an inflammation on his left wrist. He is scheduled to compete next at the Paris Masters. Meanwhile, reigning US Open champion Nadal will tie the knot on October 19.
