Microsoft asked to Stop Selling Facial Recognition software to Govt agencies

News EditorMicrosoft was asked to stop selling the facial recognition software to government agencies by over 85 human rights groups. They urged not only Microsoft but also Amazon & Google to stop selling owing to the fears of state surveillance and the potential threat to immigrants, etc. To this, Brad Smith, President of Microsoft told that such a move in itself is cruel to deprive state agencies the ability to monitor public's every move.
