Nearly 1.5 million times #MeToo was used in 2018 in India on a photo-sharing app, Instagram which made it the topmost used hashtag of the year by Insta under its "Instagram Year In Review 2018" report followed by #timesup (used 597K times) and #marchforourlives (used 562K times), at the 2nd and 3rd rank respectively. Whereas #Love was the most followed hashtag on the platform after which came #instagood and #fashion.
