Lionel Messi has been banned from playing for Argentina for 3 months and fined $50,000 by CONMEBOL after he took a dig at South American football governing body during the Copa America. The 32-year-old Barcelona star had alleged CONMEBOL of “corruption” after he was given marching order against Chile in the third-place play-off during the tournament in Brazil last month where Argentina had a frustrating campaign.
