Maruti Omni, famous 'Kidnapping van' to be discontinued from 2020

In movies, we have always seen a van for kidnapping someone and that's how it became more famous. The famous, Maruti Omni, will be discontinued from October 2020, Maruti Suzuki has confirmed. It happened when BNVSAP came into effect, and the Omni was not compatible with those safety standards. R C Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India, said that just like they had to discontinue Maruti 800, they'll discontinue Omni.
