LS Polls: Nizamabad, the first to employ 12 big-sized electronic voting machine in every booth

Telangana's Nizamabad creates history in the upcoming elections with polling to be conducted in 12 big-sized EVMs in every poll booth as the voters have to choose from 185 candidates. It is the first LS constituency in the country to see EVM polling for large no of candidates. Each polling station will have 12 M3 version EVMs, arranged in an 'L' shape each having 16 names, linked to a single control unit & VVPAT.
