Krishnamurthy Subramanian named new chief economic adviser

Associate professor and executive director of Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Krishnamurthy Subramanian, has been appointed as the Chief Economic Adviser for next three years. He will succeed Arvind Subramanian, who resigned from the post 20 June this year. PhD holder from Chicago-Booth and an IIT-IIM alumnus, Krishnamurthy Subramanian is an expert in banking, corporate governance and economic policy.
