Joker malware on Google Play Store downloaded half a million times

While Google is trying its level best to run a tight ship on its Play Store, nasty apps still find their way onto the play store. The latest of these threats has been named ‘the Joker,’ after the iconic Batman villain. It’s been found in 24 Android apps that could be downloaded from Play Store. Before Google took down the apps, these were downloaded and installed more than 472,000 times leaving users baffled.
