After the government revoked Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, will now see the state bifurcated into two different separate Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. With the addition of Jammy and Kashmir, it is only Delhi and Puducherry which have legislative assemblies where the number of UT's will go up to three. The revoking of Article 370 provoked outrage from the PDP and NC.
