Yes! In New Zealand, an abandoned town is being sold. A report by CNN states that Lake Waitaki Village, located about 180 km north of Dunedin, has been put for sale at a price of $2.8 million. The village was constructed to house men and their families who were working on a nearby dam project, in the 1930s. No one lives there since the dam was completed and no more people were required to maintain it.
