On Monday, a rescue operation was conducted to save Commander Abhilash Tomy from the Indian Ocean, which completed successfully. The commander on his survival has attributed his sailing skills and naval training as the sea was too rough for survival. He has thanked the Indian Navy and all those who have rescued him. The GGR skipper and Indian Naval officer Commander’s condition is now stable and will recover soon.
