Israel security firm warns WhatsApp hack attack can change messages sent

An Israeli security firm has revealed how messaging application WhatsApp can be hacked to change the text of a sender and identify the number as well. The hacking tool was revealed publicly during a briefing at the annual Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas last year. Despite the warnings sent out, the device still remains exploitable till date leaving senders vulnerable. Hackers are able to manipulate texts sent.
