IPL 2019 to see women’s T20 event

It started with one exhibition match last year but the women’s participation in IPL is set to become a three-team event spread over 7 to 10 days with the Committee of Administrators considering an expansion this year. However, the full-fledged women’s IPL still looks a long shot as, according to a BCCI official, the Indian cricket board is finding it quite difficult to manage good investors or team bidders.
