In order to provide faster internet connectivity, up to 14 Gbps speed, India’s heaviest satellite, Gsat-11 takes off from French Guiana on an Arianespace’s Ariane-5 rocket. With weight about 5,854 kg, it will be a game changer along with its three siblings, GSAT-19, GSAT-29 and GSAT-20. Having a lifespan of 15 years, it will help in providing internet connectivity in flights. This is ISRO's 2nd attempt to launch Gsat-11.
