India welcomes its 1st ever Railway University

Situated in Gujarat, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Vijay Rupani, CM of Gujarat have today inaugurated Indias first ever Railway University. The Indian university is the 3rd in the world after Russia and China. The National Rail and Transportation Institute in September this year welcomed its first batch of 103 students which includes 17 girls and 86 boys from 20 states. Ashwani Lohani is the Vice-Chancellor here.
