India registers its first-ever win in test series opener in Australia after defeating the host by 31 runs as India set a challenging 323-run target for the hosts in the fourth inning and Australia only manages to score 291. From India Ajinkya Rahane (71) and Cheteshwar Pujara (70) were the heroes with the bat while from bowl Bumrah and Shami steal the show. India goes 1-0 up in the 4 test match series.
