India once again declines China's Invite for BRI forum

India declined the BRI forum invite by China for the 2nd time. The 1st meet was in Beijing, 2017 was boycotted because govt maintained that China's BRI undermines India's sovereignty in the form of the CPEC which passes through the Gilgit-Baltistan region. China hoped India's participation this time keeping in mind the remarkable turnaround in ties last year. CPEC is a flagship project of the BRI, this prevents India from going.
