India gets its first female blind chess player at World Chess Olympiad

Vaishali Narendra Salavkar will be the first ever Indian blind chess player female who will take part in the International Braille Chess Association team at the World Chess Olympiad. The competition will start on Sept 23 at Batumi in Georgia. The 45-years-old lady is 8 times national champion. When the 2 Spanish women chess players couldn't make it to Olympiad, turn for Vaishali came. She has an Elo rating of 1,357 points.
